During this difficult time, we are offering our services for laceration repairs in our offices. We are aware that many emergency rooms and urgent care clinics are at capacity evaluating and treating patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 infections.
In order to help reduce the burden for these facilities and redirect patients to an environment with potentially less exposure to COVID-19, our practice is gladly accepting pediatric and adult patients in need of laceration repair. Understanding that most lacerations can be safely repaired within a 24-hour window, we will arrange to see these patients in the office to perform these services. For more complex repairs and pediatric patients, we are able to provide IV sedation in the office setting.
