What Is Rhinitis?
Rhinitis is a condition that causes chronic inflammation of the nasal lining. Symptoms of rhinitis include runny nose, congestion, itching, and sneezing.1 Rhinitis may be a result of dysfunctional nasal nerves and affect millions of people in the U.S.2
Unfortunately, rhinitis treatments such as nasal sprays and oral medication are often ineffective and come with negative side effects. Fortunately ClariFix targets and treats the root of rhinitis for lasting relief.
How ClariFix Works
ClariFix works by using cryotherapy to locally freeze the nasal nerves and reduce inflammation, opening airways and reducing discomfort and pain.
How To Prepare For ClariFix Treatment
During your initial consultation, you’ll be asked to share your medical history, your symptoms, and undergo an examination of your nose to determine if ClariFix may be a good treatment option for you. During this appointment, you’ll be provided with pre-procedure and recovery instructions.
What To Expect During ClariFix Treatment
During your ClariFix treatment, a local anesthetic will be used to numb the inside of your nose. Then your doctor will use an endoscope to apply the ClariFix device to your nasal lining. While the procedure is not painful, patients often experience slight pressure and/or a mild cooling sensation.
ClariFix Recovery & Results
For most patients, no downtime is needed after treatment with ClariFix. Immediately after the procedure, you may have increased congestion, which is normal and only temporary. Patients typically see a dramatic improvement in symptoms within several weeks.
