Dr. Berry Fairchild is thrilled to join My Houston Surgeons, where she focuses on microsurgical breast reconstruction and aesthetic surgery, serving a wide variety of patients in the Houston area.
Dr. Fairchild’s extensive training includes serving as an ER technician, phlebotomist and ICU nurse. She completed surgical residency at one of the busiest level one trauma centers in the country where she cared for numerous patients in the wake of devastating injury.
Throughout surgical training, she found herself returning to the OR long past the initial damage control surgeries to partake in the reconstructive aftermath and was consistently drawn to intricate operations demanding technical precision. This interest persisted and grew throughout her time training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Her passion for work is to be exceeded only by her passion as a mother. She believes the experience has and will continue to make her a better physician.

Dr. Arjuna Kuperan is a fellowship certified nose & sinus surgeon. He specializes in the treatment of sinus, nasal, and skull base disorders and a board certified Otolaryngologist (ENT). To achieve this rare distinction, a Rhinologist must be selected for an extra sixth year of advanced specialized fellowship training in treating sinus, nasal, and skull base diseases beyond what is required of a general ENT doctor.

Dr. Rukmini “Vinaya” Rednam is a board certified plastic surgeon in The Woodlands and Houston, TX area. She was accepted into the highly competitive Conley Scholars Program at the University of Missouri-Columbia earning her a position in the combined baccalaureate-medical school program.
Dr. Rukmini Rednam specializes in all areas of Plastic Surgery including aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body, body contouring following massive weight loss, and hair restoration and transplantation. She has a special interest in reconstructive surgery of the entire body with a focus on breast reconstruction, specifically microvascular free transfer techniques.
Dr. Erika Sato is a Houston area plastic surgeon double board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Sato earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Missouri where she graduated Cum Laude from the Honors College. She attended medical school at the University of Missouri College of Medicine, where she received her Doctorate of Medicine and graduated in the top 25% of her class. She completed both her general surgery and plastic surgery training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in the world-renowned Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world.
Dr. Joseph Baylan is a fellowship trained plastic & reconstructive surgeon born and raised in the great state of Texas. He specializes in adult and pediatric reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery of the head/neck, in addition to breast, body, and lower extremity.

Dr. Shawn Allen is focused on a commitment to comprehensive and compassionate care. After completing his medical education and residency in Tennessee and fellowship training in Rhinology (sinus and skull base surgery) at the University of Miami, Dr. Allen moved his family to the Houston area to develop an Otolaryngology (ENT) practice specializing in the care of sinus and nasal breathing disorders. He is both a Fellowship-certified sinus expert and a diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Allen is an active member of the American Rhinologic Society (ARS). He has authored multiple scientific publications and book chapters, and continues to lecture for academic departments and at international Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery courses.
