Juvéderm® Procedure
Using Hylacross technology, these fillers allow for easier placement by our trained plastic surgeons. The hyaluronic acid helps the fillers add temporary volume and smoothness to the skin. Some Juvéderm® products actually contain a local anesthetic (lidocaine) for a more pleasant injection experience. Additionally Juvéderm® Ultra XC and Juvéderm® Ultra Plus XC contain preservative-free lidocaine that numbs the treatment area within just a few seconds.
During the procedure, our highly skilled and experienced surgeons use a fine need to inject the product directly into the treatment sites that have been predetermined by our surgeon. The entire process takes less than an hour, making it a convenient minimally-invasive procedure that helps correct the look of fine lines, wrinkles and folds.

Juvéderm® Recovery
Within the first day after the injections, some patients experience temporary redness, swelling or itching at the treatment site. We recommend patients avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun or heat exposure, as well as alcoholic beverages.
Over time, the body metabolizes the fillers, so multiple treatments are necessary to maintain results – typically nine months to one year after your initial procedure.
Benefits of Juvéderm®
