At My Houston Surgeons, we welcome patients from other states and from across the world. We are honored that so many patients travel in order to see our award-winning plastic surgeons. For your convenience, we have outlined a few steps you can expect when planning a visit to see us in Houston.

If you schedule a virtual consultation with one of our surgeons, you will be asked to send along photographs prior to your appointment. Pictures of the area to be treated will be viewed by your surgeon in order to help them understand your needs and your options prior to your virtual consultation.
Your virtual consultation appointment is your opportunity to meet your surgeon, ask any questions, and discuss your concerns and goals. Your surgeon will create a treatment plan based on this discussion, although plans may be adjusted after your first in-person exam. Our team will also discuss pricing estimates and financing options with you. You will need to place a deposit to secure your surgery date.
You should plan to arrive in the Houston area at least two days prior to your surgery date. We will schedule an in-person appointment that will serve as your pre-operative exam as well as give you the opportunity to discuss any last-minute concerns or questions. We will review pre-operative guidelines and provide you with detailed post-operative care instructions.
Your recovery period will depend on the type of procedure you have. Your care team will give you personalized guidelines and time estimates for recovery. In general, you should expect to remain in the Houston area for several days after surgery for your initial recovery and follow-up appointment. Additional follow-up appointments and communication can take place virtually.
Additionally, we can assist in arranging for local overnight or extended recovery for patients who wish to utilize a trusted recovery house or local nursing care.
Houston is a world-class city with an abundance of hospitality and quality accommodations. With an international airport and other conveniences at your fingertips, we believe you’ll enjoy your trip to Houston.
Patients can travel to George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) or William P. Hobby Airport (HOU). Our offices are approximately a half hour from the airport and cabs and app rideshares are available. We can also recommend specialized medical transportation if needed.
