Dr. Regina Rodman is a board certified physician. She specializes in facial plastic surgery and Otolaryngology. She is able to treat a wide range of problems in the face and neck. She did her residency in Otolaryngology (ENT surgery) at the University of Texas Houston where she was chief resident her final year, and was voted as resident of the year for her outstanding performance. She was then selected to do advanced training in facial plastic, reconstructive and craniomaxillofacial surgery at SUNY Upstate in New York. Her fellowship is the one of the only facial plastic fellowships that focuses on craniofacial surgery as well as complex head and neck reconstruction. Because she specifically focuses on the face, she is able to perform a range of procedures that enhance both bony and soft tissue problems.

“My hope is that every person finds a physical activity they love, and if I can help improve their performance through better breathing or better sleep, then I have done my job.”

-Regina Rodman

Dr. Regina Rodman sees her role as surgeon as part of helping people on their journey of health and wellness. Outside of her busy clinical schedule, she makes time for exercise. She has played multiple sports including rugby, soccer, kickboxing, run marathons, adventure races, and is currently training as a competitive crossfit athlete. Dr. Regina Rodman trains out of gym in Houston, but has participated in crossfit competitions throughout the United States. “My hope is that every person finds a physical activity they love, and if I can help improve their experience, then I have done my job.” Dr Regina Rodman is able to help athletes with nasal obstruction from sinus disease, septal deviation, as well as facial trauma from sports injuries.

Although Dr. Regina Rodman is an outstanding physician, she did not start her career as a doctor. As an undergraduate she studied cultural anthropology, and applied this background to work in social services, managing a group home before deciding to pursue medicine. She says “I think my background in social work makes me compassionate and gives me a different perspective on health care.”

Since deciding on a career as surgeon, Dr Regina Rodman has authored multiple articles on reconstructive surgery for clinical review, peer reviewed journals, as well as multiple chapters in plastic surgery textbooks. She has given presentations at meetings across the country and has been the invited speaker at several academic institutions. Dr Regina Rodman has been awarded leadership grants by the American Academy of Otolaryngology and her work in basic science research won first place at the Houston Society of Otolaryngology Resident Research Competition. She has represented her peers as elected delegate to the student section of the American Medical Association, as well as the Association of American Medical Colleges. She continues to be involved in organized medicine as she believes it her duty to advocate for high quality health care.

“Dr. Rodman provided me with the most appropriate treatment for my needs. My knowledge of facial plastics was very limited so I appreciated Dr. Rodman’s in depth explanations and suggestions. She was very attentive to my many questions. Her suggestion for the least invasive approaches were welcomed. Dr. Rodman said she could eliminate the fine lines around my mouth. I trust her judgment and look forward to my next visit for additional treatment.”

“I had a Rhinoplasty with Dr. Rodman and I am could not be more pleased with her work.
She completely exceeded my expectations and I am so happy I chose her as my surgeon.”

“Best of the best. One of the few doctors I’ve been to that seems to genuinely care. It’s been almost a year and she’s been making sure I’m okay every step of the way and is always there to answer any question I have. She does great work and does her best to make sure you’re satisfied with the results. Couldn’t ask for anything more.”
