ABOUT MARC SARCIA, MD
Dr. Marc Sarcia is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon practicing in the Houston and The Woodlands areas. After finishing his medical school training at Georgetown University, he went on to complete his Plastic Surgery training at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. It was there that he developed a special interest in Oculoplastic surgery (the delicate surgery of the tissue around the eye).
He pursued this interest by completing a dual fellowship in Oculoplastic and Aesthetic Surgery in Atlanta, GA. His fellowship training allowed him to participate in both the surgical and research aspects of Oculoplastic and Aesthetic procedures. He is co-author of the research article “Functional Considerations in Aesthetic Eyelid Surgery” published in the Plastic Surgery Society’s most impactful journal (PRS). The article highlights the benefits that patients can obtain from a functional standpoint when they pursue aesthetic rejuvenation of the tissues around the eyes.
Dr. Sarcia’s scope of practice includes Aesthetic and Reconstructive Oculoplastic surgery, Aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the Breast, skin cancer reconstruction (Moh’s Reconstruction), Abdominoplasty surgery, and general reconstructive procedures.
His free time is spent cherishing his wife and children, pursuing hobbies in auto racing and mechanics, and spending leisure time at the beach.
“I strive to bring my patients the most complete care that I can provide. It starts with honesty and ends with a lasting relationship. When patients trust and work with their doctors, they get the most out of their healthcare experience and obtain safe and satisfying results. I want my patients to feel that there is someone on their side in healthcare and that investing in their well-being is a worthy endeavor!”
